Athletes, Sports Law, and Policy—An Interdisciplinary Symposium

SCHEDULE SPEAKER BIOS DIRECTIONS AND PARKING HOTEL INFORMATION

The Symposium will explore current issues in sports law and policy with an emphasis on the interdisciplinary nature of these issues. It will bring together leading practitioners in a variety of fields to reflect on the ethical implications of sports gambling, evolving attitudes towards amateur athletes, gender fluidity and its impact on sports, and other current issues. Each panel will feature several leading lawyers, practitioners, and athletes in their field and will be moderated by Stanford Law faculty and legal scholars publishing on these topics in the Stanford Law and Policy Review.

The Symposium is a joint venture of the Stanford Law and Policy Review, the Institute of Sports Law and Ethics, and the Stanford Entertainment and Sports Law Association.

Please present your valid, current full-time university photo ID card with full name matching your registration for onsite check-in. Registrations will be canceled and no admission is allowed if the above are not provided.

Practicing lawyers can receive up to 7 hours of MCLE credits for attending the symposium.
