Stanford Summer Orchestra

The Summer Stanford Symphony Orchestra is comprised of musicians from Stanford and the community. Nicholas Hersh (B.A., Music, '10) will conduct this summer's concert in Bing Concert Hall. Hersh currently serves as Associate Conductor of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Artistic Director of the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestras. Since joining the BSO as Assistant Conductor in 2014, he continues to make his mark on the mid-Atlantic region with exciting, innovative programming, including educational and family events.

MOZART: Concerto for Bassoon and Orchestra, K. 191/186e with Rufus Olivier, bassoon

RACHMANINOFF, Arr: Nicholas Hersh: Romance for Orchestra

TCHAIKOVSKY: Symphony No. 2 "Little Russian," Op. 17

Stanford students may choose to purchase a ticket in advance by selecting the “Non-SU Student" price.

All persons regardless of age must have a ticket.

All students are also required to present their valid student photo ID card to ushers.
