This year's TEDxStanford program brings an extraordinary lineup of
presenters, from a young PhD grad using virtual reality to let people
experience and plan for their own death, to former Ambassador to
Russia, Professor Mike McFaul on whether we are entering a new Cold
War, a writer from The Daily Show who will explore “comedy news and
fake news," and a bioengineer whose design of a 20-cent blood
centrifuge will save lives. Sprinkle in a little hiphop, spoken word,
steel pan drums and hard hitting music with a social conscience, and
you've got a day you won't forget.
Lunch will be provided from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Afternoon healthy snacks and our reception with the divine Ridge
Winery pouring, are also included in the registration price.
