Intimate, joyful Brazilian jazz.

“A present day multicultural wonder.” —The New Yorker
“Cohen has emerged as one of the brightest, most original young instrumentalists in jazz. . . with a distinctive accent of her own.” —The Washington Post
“A stunning display of Brazilian choro and samba.” —International Review of Music

It’s lucky for us that Anat Cohen has fallen in love with the music of Brazil. We’re the beneficiaries of her application of her insatiable curiosity, deep intellect, and blazing clarinet virtuosity to the varied genres of this musically rich culture. Guitar and accordion are integral to the fiery rhythms of much Brazilian music, and supplying these essential elements with marvelous rhythmic and melodic inventiveness are guitarist Romero Lubambo and accordionist and pianist Vitor Gonçalves.
