Stanford musicians and community members join together in the Summer Stanford Symphony for a two-week rehearsal commitment, culminating in a concert -- this summer, in Bing Concert Hall for the first time. Anna Wittstruck conducts the Summer Symphony's program of Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 61 (with Chen Zhao of the San Francisco Symphony as soloist) and Brahms' Symphony No. 2 in D Major, Op. 73.
